Paul Wesley is a multi-award winner as an actor as well as a producer and director. Most famously, he is known for portraying the character Paul on the TV show The Vampire Diaries. In the show, he's received numerous nominations and awards such as the Teen Choice Awards as well as the 'Young Movie Awards. Wesley was raised in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He was a student during his time in the United States. Then he attended Rutgers University. He dropped out after recognizing his talents as an actor. His first appearance on TV was in the well-known American TV soap opera Another World. Within two years, the actor played a prominent role in the CBS show Wolf Lake. When he was cast in the character as Stefan Salvatore for the American television show The Vampire Diaries, his profession was changed. Furthermore, he also directed some episodes in the popular show. In the past few years, since his first appearance on The Last Run, he's appeared in a number of film productions that are popular. Recently, he appeared as a character in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as well as minor roles. He is also fairly well-known on social media, having over 13 million fans on Instagram and 4.1 million followers on Twitter.
